Provide a practical, state-aware compliance guide that: (a) explains the federal-sector plus FTC/EEOC enforcement framework; (b) calls out high-risk state laws (California privacy/CPRA, Illinois BIPA, Colorado AI Act, New York automated decision transparency, Texas governance acts); (c) gives a 9-step startup compliance checklist (inventory, DPIA, privacy-by-design, model documentation, testing, contracts, incident response, governance, monitoring); and (d) links to NIST, FTC, White House OSTP, state AG and NCSL resources. This will give US LLC founders a clear path to get compliant and to prepare for buyer/enterprise and regulator scrutiny.
